How it works
Working days — weekdays excluding public holidays — drive everything from project deadlines and notice periods to delivery estimates and payroll. Counting them by hand across months and holiday calendars is error-prone, especially with movable feasts like Easter.
Pick a date range and the calculator counts the working days between them, inclusive of both dates. Enable holiday exclusion and choose a country to also remove its national public holidays — including Easter-dependent ones, computed correctly for any year.
Working days count
WorkingDays = TotalDays − Weekends − PublicHolidaysOnWeekdaysBoth the start and end date are included in the count. Holidays that fall on a weekend are not double-subtracted.
